Since only one candidate has registered to answer questions, I am putting this comment here. I just came from the School Board meeting where they had a meet the candidates. I am not sure who Mark Walter is or how long he has been a resident of the Mapleton School District but in the time I have been attending School Board meetings this is the first meeting I have seen him in attendance. I don't know about anyone else but I don't believe in casting my vote to a person who has not taken the time until one month before the elections to bother to attend a School Board meeting and see what is going on, good or bad, in our district. Just my opinion but if you are not willing to take the time until you are paid to do so it says a lot about the person.
